Indian Hockey team could have save the dying national sports ,but a performance in the last two games by them will surely increase the list of people loosing their interest in the hockey.India lost the match against australia 5-2,& against spain 5-2,this shows that india was not well prepared for the tournament.
Indian Hockey team was beaten in all the departments of the game,pace,aggression,attack,fitness & strategy.
Something needs to be done by the indian hockey federation, its not the coach which will make the team a bunch of supermans within a day, the infrastructure,facilities should be provided to the player,Players fitness should be tested & they should be made to work upon the it to improve the speed so that they can match the pace of quality attack like germany, england,australia.
Indian Hockey federation also need to create interest in youngsters for playing for India.Media both didgital & paper needs to focus on this issue & save our dying national sports.Above all it should be our players who need to be more responsible & more dedicated & more passionate for playing for india,as the future of hockey lies on their responsible shoulders.
Come On India Chakde In the Last two games of the tournament to qualify for the semi-final spot.Play your best hockey in the 70 min of the two game as you playing your best hockey,go give it ur best shot guys.
