IPLT20---The Entertainment King Is Back

Indian Premier League (IPL) is the name which has completely swept the cricketing world in only 15 months The main reason for its importance & success was entertainment.A T20 match hardly takes more than 3 hours to finish which is just like watching a movie.It is competition organized by BCCI.Till now,two editions of this tournament have been played & both featured 8 teams.The inaugural edition took place in India , whereas the 2nd edition was held in South Africa  IPL-1 was won by Rajasthan Royals & IPL-2 by Deccan Chargers.

IPL-3 has has the same 8 teams ie Mumbai Indians,Royal Challengers Bangalore,Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils,Deccan Chargers,Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals.The event is stating on 12th march 2010.Total around 60 matches is to be played including Final.Matches will be played at different venues around India.Matches will be tele-casted in Theatres,on Youtube it will be tele-casted with a 5 min Delay.

SWOT Analysis on the teams participating in IPL3:

1)Mumbai Indians:Captain Sachin Tendulkar
   Strengths:  Batting with Sachin, Sanath,,Kieron Pollard,Bowling with Zaheer,Harbhajan
  Weakness: Some players not in form J P Duminy,Kulkarni, Fernanado, Fielding is not the best with some of the old horses.

2)Deccan Chargers:Captain Adam Gilchrist
   Strengths:  Batting with Gilchrist,Rohit Sharma,Symonds,Gibbs,Fielding is the key
  Weakness:Bowling a little worry to them with not much recogonized bowlers.

3)Royal Challengers:Captain Anil Kumble
  Strengths:Batting with Manish Pandey, Virat Kohli,Dravid,Kallis,Boucher,Bowling with Anil Kumble,Styen
  Weakness:Batting Style of Dravid & Kallis mat affect the tempo of game.

4)Delhi Daredevils:Captain Gautam Gambhir
  Strengths:Arguably the best batting side with Gautam, Sehwag,Dilshan,Ab devillers ,Warner. Bowling with Nannes,Nehra,Amit Mishra,Fielding unit is good with sharp legs around there.
  Weakness:Some how they loose on the big plot,Depends heavily on top order.

5)Chennai Super Kings:Captain M S Dhoni
  Strengths: Batting with Hayden, Justin Kemp,Dhoni ,Suresh Raina ,local players,The presence of Dhoni is their biggest strength,Very good fielding Team
  Weakness:Murali lost his touch,Ntini has to prove himself,Arguably the weakest side this time around.

6)Kings XI Punjab:Captain Kumar Sangakara
  Strengths: They have the batting line up all through the lower order, with Shaun Marsh, Sangakara, Bopara,Yuvraj,Hopes,Irfan Pathan.If Yuvraj Gets going there will be no side which stop the kings XI.Good Fielding
 Weakness:Bowling lack fire with Bret Lee's fitness in doubt, Sresanth, Piyush Chawla

7)Rajasthan Royals:Captain Shane Warne
   Strengths:The lottery depends on Yusuf Pathan with Grame Smith & Asnodkar having contrasting styles.Middle  orders is shaky with damien martyn to start from scratch.Bowling Shane Warne
   Weakness:Many key Players Missing, Heavely depends on Yusuf,Warne

8)Kolkata Knight Riders:Captain Saurav Ganguly
   Strengths: Batting with Gayle & Mccullum only available after few matches due to their assignments Change of leadership with Ganguly
   Weakness:Bowling & Fielding both looks a bit dizzy with Only Ishant Sharma ,Bond not available in first 3 matches.

Play for national pride guys

Indian Hockey team could have save the dying national sports ,but a performance in the last two games by them will surely increase the list of people loosing their interest in the hockey.India lost the match against australia 5-2,& against spain 5-2,this shows that india was not well prepared for the tournament.

Indian Hockey team was beaten in all the departments of the game,pace,aggression,attack,fitness & strategy.
Something needs to be done by the indian hockey federation, its not the coach which will make the team a bunch of supermans within a day, the infrastructure,facilities should be provided to the player,Players fitness should be tested & they should be made to work upon the it to improve the speed so that they can match the pace of quality attack like germany, england,australia.

Indian Hockey federation also need to create interest in youngsters for playing for India.Media both didgital & paper needs to focus on this issue & save our dying national sports.Above all it should be our players who need to be more responsible & more dedicated & more passionate for playing for india,as the future of hockey lies on their responsible shoulders.

Come On India Chakde In the Last two games of the tournament to qualify for the semi-final spot.Play your best hockey in the 70 min of the two game as you playing your best hockey,go give it ur best shot guys.

India was at its best today facing pakistan in hockey world cup opener match.Earlier today Spain beat South Africa 4-2 ,another match between Australia & England was a close encounter with latter beating the former 3-2.

From the Indian team it was shivendra to start with , sandeep singh scored two goals & prabjot singh with one goal.India beat pakistan by 4-1 convincingly.It was aggression & attacking game from the Indian team.India got 7 penalty corners out of which 2 were converted.Sensing the pressure and stake associated with the high-profile encounter, India applied pressure on their next door neighbours from the onset and used both the flanks effectively.

India's domination can be gauged from the fact that they thoroughly outrolled the mid-field with Pakistan hardly making inroads into their rival's goal in the first half.While sohail abbas was the lone player to have scored the goal for his team.This was india's first win against pakistan in the last four encounters.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar born on 24 April 1973 is an Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. Sachin Tendulkar's 200 was an once in a life time innings.Even God was watcing this special Knock!.His magical innings included 25 fours,3 sixes & some important milestones.With his 25th four in his majestic knock he equaled his highest score of 186 against new zealand.The big moment came when he surpassed pakistan's opening batsmen saeed anwar's record of 194,the important point to be notable was saeed anwar's 90 runs in his knock was with a runner.

Then came the seminal moment in the history of One day international (ODI) cricket,it was 49th over , a full & wide ball bowled by south-african medium pacer,sachin steered it to point stealing a single & becoming the first player on the planet in the gentleman's game to score a 200* at gwalior stadium.
